I'm pretty sure that the guys who helped me replace my BMC several years ago never bench bled it before installing it, leading me to believe that there's air stuck up at the top. I've searched and read about cracking open the lines leading into the BMC to allow the air to escape while pressure is applied to the brake pedal. Also, I've read about using plastic fittings and hoses to recirculate the fluid back into the reservoir.
Are these the right methods sound to fix the soft pedal issue I've been having? I just flushed the system so I know the majority of the lines don't have any air in them.
